Description

Dawn Foods Dark Devil’s Chocolate Cookie Base is a chocolate cookie mix made with sugar, fortified wheat flour, vegetable oils and 8 % fat reduced cocoa powder, for cookie production in bakeries.

Cookies are made from 1000 g premix, 70 g water and 140 g margarine or butter, and baked at 155 °C for 10 minutes in a fan-assisted oven. Contains: cereals containing gluten, eggs, milk. May contain: soya. Suitable for vegetarian, halal and kosher diets. Store in a cool, dry place at a maximum of 21 °C; shelf life unopened is 12 months, and it is supplied in a 12.5 kg pack.

How to use

Instructions: Add the butter cold with the mix, never melt it, as this can cause a negative effect during baking, resulting in a firmer, biscuit type cookie without the chewy centre.
Instructions: Just add water and butter or margarine. Add your own flavours and inclusions too.
Instructions: Just add water and butter to create truly authentic American cookies, with a crisp bite and chewy centre.
Instructions: With Dawn cookie mixes, just add water and butter and you are on your way to authentic American style cookies, chewy on the inside and crunchy on the outside.

Add water, mix on slow speed for 2 minutes or until a dough has formed. Add inclusions, mix through until evenly blended. Deposit and shape as desired. Bake at 155°C for 10 minutes in fan assisted oven.
