Bakels Pound Cake Mix is a cake mix for making pound cakes.

Its main ingredients are wheat flour, wheat starch and potato starch, followed by raising agents, rice starch and emulsifiers. Contains: wheat (gluten). May contain: eggs, lupin, milk, soya. Store in a cool, dark and dry place in tightly closed packaging, at no more than 25 °C and 65 % relative humidity; unopened shelf life is 9 months from the date of production. Country of origin: the Netherlands; supplied in a 20 kg bag.

How to use

Sliced pound cake loaf made with Bakels Pound Cake Mix

Instructions: Cut lengthwise using a scraper dipped in oil
Preparation: mix with a whisk for 5 minutes at high speed
Preparation: pre-combine the batter ingredients
Preparation: pour the batter into long baking trays lined with parchment paper on the base only, deposit weight 1.45 kg
Preparation: sprinkle the top of the cake with decorative toppings
Mixing time: 5 min

Baking temperature: 180 °C first stage, flue (damper) closed
Baking temperature: 160 °C second stage (reduced temperature)
Baking time: 20 min first stage at 180°C, flue (damper) closed
Baking time: 40 min second stage at 160°C
