Description

Zeelandia Classic Carrot Cake Mix is a cake mix for carrot cake, based on sugar, wheat flour, potato starch and dried eggs, with cinnamon seasoning.

Mix all ingredients at low speed for approximately 2 minutes, add the grated carrot and mix for a further 2 minutes, then bake at 180 °C for approximately 35–40 minutes. Contains: cereals containing gluten, eggs, milk. May contain: sesame, soya. Store in a dry place (relative humidity up to 75 %) at up to 25 °C; shelf life unopened is 180 days. Sold in a 25 kg pack.

How to use

Squares of carrot cake with raisins and chocolate drizzle

Intended use: Thanks to its moist crumb, the Karotka mix is excellent for baking sponge layers as well as muffins and babka cakes.
Instructions: Mix all ingredients at low speed (using a flat beater) for approximately 2 minutes. Scrape the dough down from the sides of the bowl, add the grated carrot and mix at low speed for a further 2 minutes. Transfer the mixture into a frame measuring 30 x 40 cm. Bake at a temperature of 180°C for approximately 35 - 40 minutes.
